As Central Indiana’s regional land trust, CILTI has the challenge of protecting land in an area of significant development pressure. The rapid pace of urbanization, poorly planned growth and sprawling development is destroying our natural land and threatening our animals, plants, air and water at an alarming rate. To ensure that our children and grandchildren have woods to explore, prairies to wander and clean rivers to play in, we must increase the pace of our protection efforts as we strive to save our last special places.

If you believe like we do that natural areas are essential to a healthy environment and economic prosperity, and that people enjoy an enhanced quality of life with access to nature, we ask you to support and be a part of CILTI, your land trust.  Joining CILTI, renewing your membership, or giving a gift membership is easier than ever through our secure online donations page.  Simply click the "Donate Now" button below.

Footprints: Balancing Nature's Diversity

Central Indiana Land Trust is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of Footprints: Balancing Nature's Diversity, an exhibit at the Indiana State Museum.  Running now through August 3rd, the Footprints exhibit showcases the species that have existed in Indiana from the Ice Age through today.  This interactive exhibit is wonderful for adults and children alike!  Click here for more information about Footprints.

CILTI's partnership with All at Once and Jack Johnson

The Central Indiana Land Trust is teaming up with Jack Johnson on his 2008 World Tour and All At Once, a new social action network connecting nonprofits with people who want to become active in their local and world community. All At Once comes to life online at www.AllAtOnce.org and at every Jack Johnson concert in the Village Green, a collection of interactive booths where you can get educated, get inspired, and connect face-to-face with us and other local, national, and international non-profits.

How you can take action!

1)   Visit us at the show! We will be at Jack Johnson’s concert at Verizon Wireless Music Center on June 13th. Please come visit us in the Village Green, take environmental action, get your Village Green Passport stamped and enter to win a chance to view the concert from the stage!

2)   Help us raise funds!  Jack Johnson is matching every dollar contributed to us at the show and online.  Please make a contribution right now and your money will be doubled by Jack Johnson’s new charity, the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation!
